QNUK Level 3

 

• 2 days (12 hours)

• Recommended for teachers, child minders, playgroup personnel and anyone else who has a responsibility for their welfare whilst in your care

• Accredited Ofqual certificate and satisfies guidelines for Ofsted

 

A range of subjects covered including:

 

• Seizures

• Heat and cold-extreme

• Meningitis and sickle cell

• Eye injuries

• Asthma and diabetic emergencies

• Bone, joint and muscle injuries

• Choking

• Managing an emergency

• Bleeding

• Foreign objects

• Head injuries

• Burns

• Poisoning, bites and stings

Learners are assessed through practical observation and a multiple-choice question paper
